There were 22382 more fans in attendance at the OS on Sat to watch the Palace game compared to the emotional, last game at Upton Park, Premiership 3 - 2 win over Man Utd back in May
Nearly 57'000 to watch a lower table freezing early January scrap
That's following the 0 - 5 home Man City thrashing and a bad week (Payet etc)
There's life in the old dog yet, thanks to the fans....

Also otb even in upper tier at Boleyn if a group of your were chanting or singing it could at least be heard in the pitch. What is the point of trying to make any noise in most of os? No one else can hear it any distance away. And you picked up on one specific comment rather than replying to the gist of my post. I was actually in favour of the move as I thought it wouldn't diminish the experience but may mean we could compete higher up the table. Instead it has fucked the experience of going to matches and it's clearly beyond our current owners to manage a business of this magnitude.

Lol. I've created a monster.
I was west lower at the Boleyn in last season. Previously was upper tier and at least I was surrounded by sths who actually turned up. It was not as dead as east upper at the new place.

Around and around in circles on this but I'm going to repeat my perspective just like everyone else... my kids don't want to go to most home matches... and not just the "small" ones. But it's not about winning. They still want to go to the away matches and we're not winning those matches either. They're coming all the way up to Boro.
They don't want to come to the home matches because it's dull - the atmosphere is almost always shit (we're in the upper tier). And yes sometimes it was shit at the Boleyn blah blah but it's not like now. We seem to have different people sitting around us and empty seats around us every single match. There were clearly several Man Utd fans around us for the Man Utd match.
I don't care about winning and neither do my kids, but football is supposed to be a laugh, close enough to be able to shout abuse at the players and them to hear you, the people around you singing at least sometimes during the match. Now in large sections of the ground it's like being at the Emirates... albeit without the redeeming feature of good football like you get there. Shit on the pitch, shit off the pitch.
